📏 How scoring works

Per match

Each tie: call which nation advances and the exact result (3-0 / 3-1 / 3-2 in the best-of-5 qualifiers; 2-0 / 2-1 in the final stage). Once a nation lands its decisive point, the rest no longer counts for the pool: you will never see a 4-0. Inside every tie you also predict each of its matches, and that is where the two games axes come in.

Call the country that goes through+6
Points for calling which nation wins the tie and advances.
Exact tie result+6
Bonus if you also call the exact tie result: 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 in the qualifiers and 2-0 or 2-1 in the final stage (you need the winner too). Once the third point lands, whatever gets played after doesn't count.
Correct winner of a rubber+2
Points for calling the winner of each individual rubber inside the tie.
Set score of a rubber+2
Bonus if you also call that rubber's set score. You need the winner too.
Games-difference band+1
Individual rubbers only: call the band the games difference falls in (≤2 · 3-4 · 5-6 · ≥7). It measures how tight the match was, and you can nail it without knowing who wins.
Games band over the opening sets+1
Individual rubbers only: call the band for the games played across the first two sets (≤17 · 18-19 · 20-22 · ≥23). Only the sets that always get played count, so the band doesn't hinge on whether the match runs two sets or three.
No prediction for a played match-1
A gentle nudge so you don't forget to play: if a match is played and you hadn't entered a prediction, you lose these points.
