Terms of Use

1. Description of the service

Predster is a free, entertainment-only service that lets you create prediction pools, join them with a code, make predictions about sports events, and compete for points on leaderboards.

Important: Predster is NOT a betting operator. There is no real-money play or wagering, no cash prizes are offered, and points have no monetary value whatsoever. Its sole purpose is entertainment and friendly competition.

2. Account and registration

To use the service you must sign in with a Google account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your access confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out from your account.

You must be at least the minimum age required by applicable law to use the service and accept these terms.

3. Acceptable use

When using Predster you agree not to:

• Post unlawful, offensive, defamatory, hateful or harassing content, or content that infringes third-party rights, particularly in chats and pool names.
• Impersonate other people or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Attempt to manipulate results, leaderboards or the platform's operation, or access it in an unauthorised way.
• Use the service for commercial, advertising or spam purposes without our permission.
• Interfere with the security or infrastructure of the service.

4. User content

You keep ownership of the content you create (for example, chat messages or the names of pools you create). By posting it, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it within the service in order to provide it (for example, showing your messages to the other members of the pool).

You are solely responsible for the content you post and you warrant that you are entitled to post it.

5. Public and private pools

There are general (open) pools and private pools joined via an invitation code. Whoever creates a private pool acts as its administrator and can manage its members. You can leave a pool at any time from the pool itself.

6. Moderation

We may review, moderate or remove content that breaches these terms, and suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, in order to protect the community and the platform.

7. Intellectual property

The software, design, the Predster brand and the other elements of the platform belong to MAYGO Group or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You are granted no rights over them beyond ordinary use of the service.

8. Third-party services

The service relies on external providers (for example, Google Sign-In and sports-results data). We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of those third-party services, although we do our best to offer a reliable experience.

9. Availability and no warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Predster is under continuous development, so changes, interruptions or errors may occur. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, nor the accuracy of sports results imported from external sources.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or where necessary for legal or security reasons.

12. Changes to the terms

We may amend these terms to reflect changes in the service or the law. We will publish the current version on this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to the rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.
