📏 How scoring works

Per match

Per game: nail the winner, the margin band and the total-points band.

Correct winner+3
You call which team wins the match. Nobody gets a draw right.
Goal-margin band+3
You call the goal band your team wins by (0-2, 3-5, 6-9, 10+). You need the winner too; every band is worth the same.
Total-goals band+2
You call the band of goals both teams add up to (<52, 52-54, 55-59, 60-65, 66+). It measures regulation time: overtime doesn't move the band.
No prediction for a played match-1
A gentle nudge so you don't forget to play: if a match is played and you hadn't entered a prediction, you lose these points.

🎯 Regular-season bets

Name one team per bet. They settle against the FINAL regular-season table, not the current one.

Regular-season leader+18
Points if your team finishes top of the regular-season standings. Where there are playoffs that is a title of its own, separate from the one decided later; where there are none, it is the championship.
Top-4 in the regular season or better+12
Name a team that finishes the regular season in the top four (or better).
Wooden spoon+6
Points if your team finishes LAST in the regular season. It is worth less than calling the leader: the bottom of the table is usually settled well before the end.
