📏 How scoring works

Per match

Per game: nail the winner, the run-margin band and the total-runs band.

  • Correct winner+3

    Points for calling which team wins the game.

  • Run-margin band+3

    You call the run band your team wins by (1, 2-3, 4-6, 7+). You need the winner too; every band is worth the same.

  • Total-runs band+2

    You call the band of runs both teams add up to (<6, 6-8, 9-10, 11-13, 14+).

  • No prediction for a played match-1

    A gentle nudge so you don't forget to play: if a match is played and you hadn't entered a prediction, you lose these points.

Regular-season bets

Settled against the final regular-season standings; they lock before the season's first game.

  • Best record+15

    Call the team with the best win record.

Playoff bets

They are settled by the playoff final, but they close along with the rest: before the season's first game.

  • Champion+40

    Call the champion (the team that wins the final).

  • Runner-up (finalist)+20

    Call the runner-up (the other finalist).
