📏 How scoring works
Per match
Per game: nail the winner, the margin band and the total-points band.
- Correct winner+3
You call which team wins the match. Nobody gets a draw right.
- Margin band+3
You call the band your team wins by (0-6, 7-15, 16-30, 31+ points). You need the winner too; every band is worth the same.
- Total-points band+2
You call the band both teams add up to (<40, 40-50, 51-57, 58-68, 69+). It measures regulation time: overtime doesn't move the band.
- No prediction for a played match-1
A gentle nudge so you don't forget to play: if a match is played and you hadn't entered a prediction, you lose these points.
🏆 Title bets
These settle on how far your team goes. Each rung is «or better», so the champion also clears the ones below it. Winning the regular season and winning the title are different things: you can get one right and the other wrong.
- Champion+30
Name the champion. It settles on the final bracket, not the table: where there are playoffs, the regular-season leader and the champion can be different teams.
- Finalist or better+15
Points if your team reaches the final (the champion clears this bet too).
- Semi-finalist or better+9
Name a team that reaches at least the playoff semi-finals (the champion and the runner-up clear this one too).
